Head of the Department of Natural Resources Management and Conservation, Ms. Happiness Charles Bupamba has overseen the presentation of a special project for third-year students (Bachelor of Science in Bee Resource Management)

To capacitate students with practical skills of solving problems using scientific procedures and research ethics, students are assessed their ability and understanding on subject matter planned for research. The current intake has focused their research in bee resources commercialization, the interaction of human and natural resources, science of different organisms including insects, plants and animals. Upon completion of their research, students will come up with different applicable solutions on biodiversity and environmental conservation as well as real-life problems especially scientific and socio-economic related problems.

A total of 65 students presented their special project in the presence of lecturers and professors of Sokoine University of Agriculture Mizengo Pinda campus.
