The orientation week started on Monday October 24, 2022 with students receiving orientation seminars on various topics such as sexual corruption, citizenship, and respect for the country’s constitution and laws
Mr Robert Donah Layaway, an officer from the Office of Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB), Mlele District in Katavi Region, instructed students on how to deal with any kind of corruption. He stated that in order to eradicate sexual corruption, as well as other forms of corruption, students must work together to provide information at the nearby PCCB office as soon as they are confronted with temptations or practices of corruption. Furthermore, students and employees must resist any habit that will engage them in corruption and violation of work ethics and principles. Students in need should not be persuaded to offer sexual corruption or other bribes in exchange for services or favors.
On the other hand, Mr. Salum Ramadhani Hamisi, an immigration officer from Mlele District in Katavi region, delivered a speech on citizenship to students at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Mizengo Pinda campus College.

Finally, Inspector Komba, the Officer Commanding Station (O.C.S) of Kibaoni Police Station, asked the students to follow the country’s laws and regulations in order to avoid unnecessary mistakes.
